Ellis' died in 1711. In his will (proved 31 Dec 1711) he is 'of Popeshead Plantation in the island of Antigua Merchant'⁵⁾. Both Ellis and Mary lived at Popeshead Plantation, as shown by mention of “…the said Anne Langford, and a Daughter in Law of her's, called Mary Langford…” in an affirmation made by Anne 15 Mar 1709/10. There are no known children from this union.

Following Ellis' death, Mary married Elijah LOVELL, 30 Sep 1714, Horselydown, Bermondsey, Surrey, England.
