He was buried, aged 93, 2 Jan 1803, Aylsham, Norfolk.

He married Sarah HEWETT 1 Nov 1739, in Northrepps, Norfolk.

As you can see form the above image, there is confusion over his name in the register, with it either being Amborse or Andrew. His surname is, however, corrected for the baptisms of his second and third child, from Sales to Searles:
