Hello there! My name is Trudy: by day I am an HTML buff, but at night (well, evenings and weekends) I'm a total history and genealogy freak. 

This is the combination of my passions...

Most of the information contained here refers to my direct English family lines of [[messingham|Missingham]] & [[messingham|Messingham]] (with the inclusion of [[messingham|Missinghams of Australia]]) and [[windaybank|Windaybank]] of numerous spellings.

There is also historical details of the [[http://www.theartofrandomology.co.uk/genealogy/WindebankHub.php|Windebank]] family of the **Tudor**, **Stuart**, and **Georgian** eras: who can boast decendants such as the first president of the United States, George Washington; explorer, Meriwether Lewis; and the Princes William and Harry via their maternal great-grandmother, the late Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon.

Where possible I have included references to primary and secondary documentation, but am always on the look-out for more; so please feel free to [[contact me]] if you have anything to add.
